This company was born from the passion of the founder, Vittorio Livi, for glass and its contradictions, its being solid but brittle, thick but transparent, natural and artificial.
From this passion comes a project that today is a company, that has proved capable of fusing the incredible cultural baggage, that the glass processing requires to skilled craftsmen, with the technology and typical industrial processes.
Fiam has always appreciated the ability of the designers who have worked with it to dare and to push the use of glass beyond the traditional boundaries of its use in furnishing; that is how were born unimaginable products, like Ghost by Cini Boeri, a glass chair.
