Driade

Driade was established in 1968, a time when the design trends of home furnishings that would then characterized the entire twentieth century began to develop.
Geometric abstraction and rationalistic design on one hand, pop influences and radical design on the other are the first stylistic motifs that the newborn company absorbs. The advent of globalization and the massive industrialization does not affect the nature of Driade, who calls himself “aesthetic laboratory”, aiming to maintain an atmosphere of subtle aesthetism, reflected primarily in its historic headquarters in Fossadello (PC), where architecture, furniture, textiles, designers, photographers and graphic designers meet. After the age of rationalism and of geometries that characterized the last century, today Driade’s production is marked by the multiplicity of languages that, as for the art, do not allow a clear definition of specific trends but rather a creative pluralism.
